What is Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a state of extreme relaxation which can facilitate change in your subconscious mind by giving suggestions on new behaviours or new ways of dealing with situations directly to your subconscious mind.
Hypnosis is a trance like state and everyone has the ability to enter into a trance. Everyday, you slip into a natural trance state when you become absorbed in watching television, or reading a book, using your computers or even driving.

Real life hypnosis differs in many ways from that portrayed in popular culture, such as movies and TV.
Firstly I don’t need to swing a pocket watch in front of your eyes.
Secondly you will not be under my control in any way. During your hypnotic session I will be making suggestions to your subconscious mind. You will still be in control and if I were to suggest anything that went against your moral beliefs it would shock you out of hypnosis.
You may or may not remember every thing I say to you during your hypnotic session. It does not matter if you consciously remember what I say as your subconscious mind will remember.
